APEX Retreat

The APEX Retreat/Conference is an adult retreat for anyone 18 years and older hosted at Montlure Presbyterian Camp just outside of Greer, Arizona in the White Mountains. APEX retreats began in January of 2007 and primarily serve the presbyteries of Grand Canyon and de Cristo. The retreat's primary function is to provide a place set apart from the stress of the world where adults can have spiritual enrichment and nurture a larger, more connected Christian community. It is a retreat for adults of all ages and all walks of life seeking to further their relationship with God and to develop a stronger faith community around them through the actions of camping and fellowship. APEX also focuses on developing and strengthening leaders, as well as providing a setting for passing wisdom from one generation to another.

The APEX Retreat/Conference is designed for flexibility and adaptability for all of the people who participate. Although, the full length of the retreat ranges from four to five days, participants may arrive when their time constraints allow. We simply ask that the participant checks in upon arrival. Throughout the weekend, the retreat provides seminars/forums, times of worship, a meditation/solitude chapel, and many other activities for the participants to be involved in. Spiritual guidance may also be found through all of the pastors that APEX is ever thankful to have involved throughout the retreat. All events are optional and participants are free to decide which events will best nurture their needs through the course of the retreat.

In addition, the cost of the retreat includes food and lodging, although, you will need to bring your own sleeping bag for the bunks! There are also many outdoor/nature activities available both in and around Montlure Camp including hiking and fishing. The APEX Retreat/Conference is a wonderful time to develop and enrich your faith and further connect with the Christian community around you!
